  I am please to introduce the Ministry of Labour & Industrial Relations, Fiji where I work as the Training Officer.

The Ministry of Labour & Industrial Relations is situated in the heart of Suva, the capital of the Fiji Islands. The purpose of the Ministry is to maintain harmonious industrial relations amongst all sectors in society and to promote a safe and happy workforce which will inevitably lead to social and economic growth.

There are 7 sections of the Ministry, mainly: -

  •  International Affairs & Training
  •  Industrial Relations
  •  Office of the Registrar of Trade Unions & Industrial Relations
  •  Research & Development
  •  Corporate Services & Resource Management
    •  The Ministry of Labour also serves as the national center for the:
       Under the  guidance of the International Labour Organisation (Fiji), the Ministry is the host of the Human Resource Development - Labour Administration programme.
