| Fourteen senior training specialists from eleven countries in the Asia - Pacific region met at the OVTA Centre in Chiba, Japan, to examine and discuss important technological developments in education and training. The programme, organized jointly by APSDEP, the International Training Centre of the ILO , and OVTA, aimed at enhancing instructional innovation by promoting the integration of new technologies in the training systems of their respective countries. |

databases, desktop publishing, multimedia authoring of interactive applications,
networking: Internet, Intranet, e-mail, electronic conferences and the
World Wide Web for applications to management, publishing, residential
and distance training / learning to improve the effectiveness of training
institutions.
